Tara "Fancy Pants" Allstun
Tara and I met as freshmen roommates at Pepperdine University.
As Tara watched me come in on moving day wearing a miniskirt and carrying
four garbage bags full of clothes, she didn't know what she had gotten herself
into. But within a week all of my clothes had miraculously been stuffed
into the tiny dorm closet and I had traded in skirts and dresses for my
trademark tank tops and shorts. Soon we bonded over our love of Disney
movies and frustration with long distance relationships, and before long we
became the best of friends. I am so thankful for Tara and don’t know
what I would do without her!
Julie “Julio” Aldag
Bridesmaid
When I was debating whom I should ask to be my bridesmaids, there
was never any doubt that I wanted Julie standing up next to me. Julie is my younger sister, and while I
still like to think of her as being ten years old, there is no denying that
she’s grown into an amazing young lady.
Now a college sophomore, Julie is the kind of person that fills a room
with positive energy just by walking into it. I am so happy to have Julie as a sister and know that when
it’s time to have kids (five or more years from now!), Zach and I can count on
Julie to be an amazing aunt and babysitter.
I am so glad that God called the Gutes to LifePointe, as I have
had a blast getting to know Erin!
Erin has an incredibly charismatic and caring personality, complemented
beautifully by a hilarious sarcastic streak. She also has a fabulous sense of style and is always willing
to give fashion guidance, which I desperately need. When I want advice as a new
wife, Erin is going to be my go-to girl since she always seems to have things
under control. I love shopping
with Erin and have enjoyed our time together in small group and our double
dates with the guys in Sacramento, Elk Grove and Tahoe; I can’t wait to see
what else the future has in store for the Gutes and Gonzaldorffs!
Katie Gonzalez
Bridesmaid
Katie is one of my future sisters-in-law, and I am so excited
she’ll be joining my family! Katie
is always the life of the party; if you enter a crowded room that Katie is in,
you are aware of her presence instantly.
She has some of the best stories and can make me laugh no matter what
I’m going through. Not only is
Katie fun and outgoing, but she is also a genuinely thoughtful person that
loves to help others out. And if
there is anyone that can understand and appreciate my ridiculous obsession with
sweets, it’s definitely Katie.
Sarah Gonzalez
Bridesmaid
I can’t wait to be Sarah’s
sister-in-law come October! I love
spending time with Sarah and can’t wait to get some cooking lessons from her,
since she has mad skills in the kitchen.
Not only is she a master chef, but Sarah also has a quick wit and
fantastically quirky sense of humor that cracks me up. More importantly, she has an incredibly
caring heart. I also love that
Sarah is a fellow artist who happens to have great taste in TV shows; I’m so
grateful that she got me hooked on Parks and Rec and I look forward to seeing
what else she’ll introduce me to in the future!
The Gentlemen

I met Ken the same year I met Aubrey, in 8th grade. Since then we have been best friends. Throughout college and the beginning of our careers, we have managed to keep each other close in our lives despite living far away. Ken is my right hand man, and I can trust him with anything.
I’ve only known Derek for little over a year, but since then he has proven to be an amazing friend. He and his wife Erin came all the way from Ohio to work as the youth pastor at our church, which is how I first met him. However, we became close buddies soon after working together at church. Being in a similar walk in life I am in, he has been someone who understands me and has a lot in common with. I appreciate all he has been to me in the little time he has been here.
Gary Martinez
Groomsman
Gary has been one of the few men who has been able to see me grow. I started going to his small group at church when I was a senior in high school. Since then, we have become close, and he has been a real mentor figure with me. Gary shares the same values I have in life and in marriage, and he is someone I really look up to. It has been great having Gary as a mentor and as a friend.
One of the best parts of marrying Aubrey is knowing I will have Kevin as my brother-in-law. Kevin is very artistically talented; he has written scripts and short stories, composed songs, and can play various instruments. He also is fun and easy-going, making him someone I like to hang around with. Kevin also has a great sense of humor which I enjoy very much. It is an honor to have him stand with me at the altar.
Pablo "James" Aldag

Pablo is a very fun guy with a huge personality. Always in the mood to be crazy, he is able to keep the family entertained. Not only is he the right guy for a good laugh, but he has some acting skills as well. Pablo will be the right one to keep me feeling cheerful and relaxed on the big day.
